One Example of Tracking Content Online
Scott Leslie shared GumGum today as an example of tracking the use of content. Take a look: http://www.gumgum.com. GumGum provides embed codes and tracking scripts. The developer has the choice of how to pay for the content which could be per/hit or one time fee for larger traffic sites.
